  1. We congratulate these Dealerships for "Acheiving Excellence Everyday"! Monterey Boats Top Ten CSI Dealers 2011 Awards Press Release.pdf
  2. Hello Hammer2o I have attached a performance report for you. It would be a good idea to have your engines checked by a certified Mercury technician. It could be something simple. Also, make sure the tach's are synchronized and you are getting a true reading on a GPS for speed in case it is a gauge issue. 298SS Merc 350MAG B3 16Jun06.pdf
  3. Hello DGBSR, The original trim ring is no longer available from the vendor (it came already installed on the carpet) they switched to black a few years ago. I "Googled" carpet trim rings and found this possible source for a replacement: http://www.ssicustomplastics.com/trim.htm You might also want to try a local carpet supply store, hardware store or custom auto/RV detailer.
  4. Hello Michael G, Diesel engines were offered as an option for the 322 Cruiser. Primarily for a small part of the international market- and only a handful were built for the United States. We have no performance data that I could locate in the system (sorry).
  5. Hello Thurston, The blender was part #BLENDER-251SS-272 POP-UP W/SS POWER UNIT and was distributed by Hughes Supply (407-724-5880- 2701 West Nassau Blvd., Melbourne, Florida).

  10. You are correct davncreek- The "Build your Boat" feature is currently being updated to the 2012 model changeover and hopefully will be complete in about a week.
  11. Hello Snosptz, Unfortunately, the pattern and materials are no longer available from the vendor. Most boat owners in this situation have success using a local upholstery shop or custom auto detailer. Check with your dealer, marina or local marine supply store for referrals or shops to get this done for you.
  12. Hello kfp673, The raw water from your lake has bacteria that love your waste tank. With summertime temperatures, the more the tank sits with waste in it, the more it will smell. Pumping it out after your weekend would help. For cleaning the head waste tank, pump it completely out at the pumping station- put the sanitizing chemical directly into the waste tank through the pump out fitting- pump the head a few times adding a little bit of the raw water into the tank and let it sit for a bit or if you can, take the boat for a ride and allow it to "slosh" around in the tank. Then pump that completely out and add the chemical once again directly into the waste tank. It is good preventative maintenance to do this at the end of boating season and at the beginning of boating season. Clean the head thoroughly using a very, very mild bleach solution. For the fresh water tank, you can drain it by running the sink and the transom shower (it is a 14 gallon capacity)until it is completely empty. Add a couple of gallons of 50% vinegar/50% water solution into the freshwater tank. Allow it to sit for at least an hour (or take the boat for a ride and let it slosh around too!) then drain that out using the sink and transom shower- that will help to clean your water lines as well. Re-fill the tank with fresh water. Make certain that the hose you use to fill the freshwater tank is for potable water and not a regular garden hose.
  13. Hi Chris, that part number was: LEG-3662A-AFTSEAT and the manufacturer was Adeptus Industries (941-756-7636 or www.adeptusind.com).
  14. If they are the ones by the mirror in the V-Berth they are part ##80500-64R WHT. HALOGEN BULLET LT and the manufacturer was Liteco (phone is 219-264-2139).
  15. Hello gfick, you can order those from Taylor Made: Taylor Made Systems Taylor Made Group, LLC 93 South Boulevard Gloversville, NY 12078 PH: 518-773-0636 FX: 518-773-2919 Please e-mail us for additional information on any of our products and services at tms@taylormadesystems.com. I do not have a part number (they came with each complete windshield as a "hardware kit") but they were called bumpers.
  16. Hi there amanphoto, The mirror is glued to the bulkhead using a strong marine adhesive.
  17. Hello Chris, The patterns are still available but the original vinyl material is not. The current color is whiter. to obtain a price quote, you can contact any Monterey dealer. You can use the dealer locator at our home page to find the one closest to you. The pro's on using a local upholstery shop is the ability to color match (so you don't have to replace everything), the savings on freight to ship the parts and the customized fit.
  18. Hello Kelleyja, The part number was PORT-G618-28-1-WHT and the manufacturer is Bomar Industries: www.pompanette.com or 603-826-4125. I hope this helps!
  19. Hello bug892, Remove the dash panel by removing the screws along the edges. Using a towel(or something like that)gently pull out on it- and rest the dash against the steering wheel using the towel to prop it up (don't let it hang or dangle by the wires). You will then see the clips that hold the gauge in place. Be careful not to burr the screwheads (that will cause them to corrode) or tighten the dash panel screws too tight when replacing it as it may crack the panel (no longer available from the vendor). You can contact Faria (the tach manufacturer) at www.faria-instruments.com or 800-473-2742 for gauge replacement or repair.
  20. Hi there 180FS in Nashville, The standard stereo was a Magnedyne M3100CDA with 5" Kenwood KWR40 speakers. The upgrade option (Sirius ready) stereo was the Kenwood KDC2025MRCC (kenwoodusa.com). I hope this helps.
  21. Hello Richard, The vendor that made the runners is no longer in business. Taylor Made provided a canvas type of runner that snapped onto the cabin floor but it was not a popular option. You would have the best success using a local carpet or upholstery shop. Taylor Made part number was CARPET-0102O9-MB245 LTW CARPET RUNNER PKG. www.taylormadegroup.com or 518-725-0681.
  22. Hi Dave, There was a 236 Montura offered in 1997 and the "Dino" was an optional limited edition package that included a mahogany steering wheel, burl dash, wiper, tilt steering, compass and depth sounder. To confirm that it is a 236, the hull ID number will begin with the letters RGFV. Unfortunately, the original owners manual is not available. In the Product Support section of this forum you can download the 248LS manual as it is the model most similar to the 236. Spec's are as follows: LOA 23' 6" beam 8' 6" Draft Up 21" Draft down 38" Fuel Capacity 60 gallons Dry Weight appx 3950 lbs 22 degree of deadrise
  23. Hi there amp410, It is in the works...as well as a few other "upgrades" to our Forum this year!
  24. The storage compartment on the extended swim platform is for your dock lines or other gear (snorkel, drinks, etc.). It is handy if you like to swim, snorkel or do a little fishing off the back.
  25. Hello CSea, It is unfortunate to hear that your Cruiser has been damaged. Glad to hear the driver of the jet ski will recover. So often that is not the case. You need a certified Marine Surveyor (or have your insurance company provide one) to assess the boat. It has to be taking water on somewhere- or a component has shifted or loosened from the impact of the jet ski causing an unbalanced weight on the boat. It takes a huge hit on the hull side to cause a structural crack under the V Berth bulkhead. It would be a good idea to have the boat hauled out of the water and seek immediate professional assessment of the damages.
