  1. Hi Jessica, That hatch is a Bomar product, part # HATCH-1139-10H-7W- NIBO 20" ROUND and is distributed by www.pompanette.com or 603-826-5791.
  2. Hi Lake Mead Monster, Water coming out of the weep hole indicates the shaft seal behind the impeller is leaking. Change the seal but also check the "shaft to seal" contact area. It must be smooth or the new seal could fail prematurely. Changing the impellers at recommended schedule is good preventative maintenance.
  3. Hi DJR's M5, Send an email to info@montereyboats.com with your request and use logo in your subject line. I am quite certain permission will be granted!
  4. Hello, The dash panels for the 242 Cruiser and the 262 Cruiser are no longer available from the vendor. Unfortunately, they are no longer in business. Some boat owners have success using local custom auto detailing shops. Also, check with your dealer or local marina for possible sub contractors in your area. There are after market companies that specialize in refurbishing dash panels such as Team Marine, Inc. (1-877-44-PANELS) which boat owners have also let us know about. I also googled 'custom marine dash panels' and came up with over 47,000 results on the internet. I hope this helps.

  9. Hello Kim1227, Your hatch was most likely part #HATCH-1080-10A-WHT description is: NIBO HATCH 18.5” SQ WHITE. The vendor was Bomar/Pompanette and the contact information is www.pompanette.com or 603-826-5791. You might have to purchase an entire hatch- not sure if the individual pieces/parts are still available. I do apologize- as I cannot be 100% certain as we suffered a fire in late 1999 that destroyed our archived information. be certain to look for a part number on the hatch and to measure twice! Hope this helps,
  10. Hello tbirt214, Your best source of help is a Mercruiser authorized service center. To find the one nearest you please use the dealer locator at www.mercurymarine.com or call 405-743-6566. Sometimes running changes or part replacements are implemented by Mercury and the engine manufacturer representative has the most up to date information. The oil filter on your engine now might not be factory since it does not have any part number or other information on it.
  11. Hello Jacek, There is a port for your MP3 on the Sirius Satellite box itself.
  12. Hello Cnatoli, The fuel filter location will be in your Mercury 7.4 engine manual. If you need one- please contact your Monterey dealer, local Mercury Marine dealer, Mercury website (www.mercurymarine.com) or call 405-743-6566.
  13. Hello Bob, That center piece is the "burl cover" of part #WHEEL-MS1103621BSM 1 EA BLK STRG WHEEL / BLK SPOKES / BURL COVER manufactured by Dino (954-772-8355 in Florida). Be certain to use only a mild soap and clear water to clean it with as it has a top coat that can peel from harsh chemicals.
  14. Hello Hpdsgt49, That is an anchor chafe plate made of ABS and is designed to protect the hull from getting "dinked" by the anchor.
  15. Hello sgravy524, Send an email to info@montereyboats.com, include your hull identification number (it begins with the letters RGF)and have the subject line read "Trailer Specs". They will get one out to you.
  16. Hello Paul, You must contact the engine manufacturer direct: www.mercurymarine.com (405-743-6566 in OK) www.volvopenta.com (757-436-5100 in VA) You will need your engine model and serial number for faster service.

  22. Hello Richard, Unfortunately, the owner's manual specific to the 180 Montura was destroyed in a fire in late 1999. The manual most similar to your boat would be the 180 Edge Sport boat manual. To obtain an engine manual, please contact Merc or Volvo International direct (mercurymarine.com or volvopenta.com). The DRY weight of the 1999 180 Montura is appx 2000 lbs. Weights are approximate because they are based on the average of 7 to 10 boats coming down the production line. Please keep in mind that dry weight means only the boat and the engine- no fuel, batteries, gear, etc. on board. The weight difference between the 4 and the 6 cylinder can be as much as 200-300 pounds depending on which outdrive is installed (DP/SX,Alpha/Bravo).
  23. Hello orms71, The windlass was an option in 1998 on the 322 Cruiser. If your windlass was factory installed it would have been a Simpson Lawrence Horizon 500-SL005. They are now named "Lewmar" (http://www.lewmar.com/ or 888-752-7846). Also, the Horizon 500 became the 600, the 600 became the 700....and that is the current one used today. I hope this helps!
  24. Hello Jeff2255, That is a draw latch, part # is 07-10-301-11 WHITE DRAW LATCH W/KEEPER and it is distributed by Assembly Fasteners, Inc (800-488-4777). I do not think they will sell direct but perhaps they can send you to one of their retailers. They might be available through West Marine or other marine supply house as well. Thanks for the picture- big help!
  25. Hello PeterC, On the AC electrical panel down in the cabin there should be a breaker space for the icemaker in the bottom right hand side, just below the TV switch. The icemaker was 110v (only). The wires for the icemaker hook up should be tucked up behind the panel. Remove the AC electrical panel, connect the wires to the breaker and you should be good to go. Be certain that the breaker is the correct amperage recommended by the refrigerator manufacturer.
