The gauge will read full and will read empty. Problem is when it's empty, I only put in 60 gallons into a 90 gallon tank, leaving me wondering where the other 30 gallons is. The Simrad unit will read digitally to 104% and to 0%, which is consistent with the analog one in the dash. I'd like to be able to go a little further on trips, but have to either carry a fuel bladder or stop more frequently than I feel like I should. Anyone else have this issue? Any suggestions? Gauge seems to work, but is there a reserve built in that I'm not aware of? Something else?
