I have a 2004 Monterey 250cr with Yanmar 240hp diesel using Bravo 1 outdrive. i am running a 23inch pitch 4 blade and want to make sure its correct as cannot get up on plane and i am told i should have a higher pitch propeller? Does anyone have the same spec boat and if so what pitch propeller are you running? Thanks Bruce

I have a 2004 Monterey with Yanmar 240 but having trouble with top speed - have spent over 10k on turbo refurb as well as fuel pump etc- Had 30 knots on one occasion with 2 on board but since then back to 12 knots and with more persons invited even lower - have checked hull and checked revs with digit reader but all ok - reaching WOT - i am using a 4 blade 24inch with 15inch diameter but not sure if this is correct - everyone i speak with has a different opinion - can any one shed some light please ?
