Freedomskeeper 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2011 What are your winter projects? if you are like me you are anxiously waiting for the cold to go away, but taking advantage of the downtime to get some work done. So what are you doing, how, and post some pics if you have them. So far I have removed the electric/alcohol stove from my '97 262cr. I used the metal box that contained the stove as additional storage for dry goods. The box was spray painted and I dropped in a cabinet liner. It is not as pretty as I would like, so when I have time I think I will line it with Teak that is left over from last winters project ( remove carpet, insert teak). The original cover for the stove is still attached and serves as a countertop and hatch to acres the storage. Other projects include: - replace shower sump pump wiring ( leak from last winter corroded wiring) - replace macerator ( has never worked, and is never used, but it bothers me that it is inop) - install led courtesy lights and install led rope lighting around helm seat - design and install a lift for the helm seat. I am 5'7" and do not like the visibility from the helm when seated. This will also create space for a ac/heat unit. - new power inverter What are you guys up to?
