180FS in Nashville 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2011 Hello, I just bought a 2006 180FS last weekend and coming from a pontoon is proving to be a bit unsettling. My 1995 Fisher pontoon w/ a 70hp Suz 4-stroke seemed so tight and quiet compared to this boat. Sometimes it seems like the 4.3 Mercruiser runs rough. I'm hoping it's just the transition from having that purring outboard hidden behind the stern 10' away as opposed to that 4.3 just a few feet away that makes it sound so rough. One question; right now I have a 21p prop that tops out @ 57-58 mph (gps) @ 4500rpms. Is that right? Or should I be looking at another prop? Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
