rogerb 0 Report post Posted October 11, 2013 Hello, I am planning on buying a boat lift and want to make certain that I have the correct weight of the boat so as not to buy "too little lift". Can someone please confirm what dry weight means with Monterey. Thanks!
carlos 0 Report post Posted October 15, 2013 Dry weight = everything that is attached to the boat except liquids and your gear.
johndoe73 0 Report post Posted September 15, 2014 But the specs page typically only shows a single weight, whereas the boat has a number of different possible engineS with a wide variety in weights. Can I assume the listed weight is witht he smallest/lightest engine?

Pick the heaviest weight even if that is not for your engine. I would add 500 lbs. at least to the dry weight as a safety factor after you find the weight of the heaviest engine.
