zachw 0 Report post Posted April 14, 2017 I own a 2007 290cr with a gen and 2 Volvo 5.7. The boat has 2 batteries on the starboard side connected in parallel. It has 3 batteries on port side all individual. My question is are the 2 parallel connected the house batteries and the 3 individual batteries each a starting battery, 1 for each engine and 1 for the gen ? when I purchased the boat I don't know if they were the correct type ( deep cycle or starting ) in the correct locations.
