1993 225 SCR good starter boat?

Hello I have been looking online for a starter boat and came across a 1993 225 SCR on trailer for a couple hundred bucks. It is in need of a full restoration for interior and engine/ outdrive. Trailer alone is worth asking price but was hoping boat would be worth the restoration. I worked at Sailfish and Edgewater Boats building them for years so the labor is no problem just is the boat worth the time needed. I am seeing 6 months at least restoring and out of pocket around $4,500 give or take in materials for boat and engine. All in all after done maybe lets say $6,000 "invested" is a 225 SCR worth it or keep looking? Thanks for reading.
