Lite Duty 0 Report post Posted July 15, 2008 When I purchased my new Monterey 296 I ended up buying a book put out by "Clymer" for Volvo Penta "Stern Drive Shop Manual". ISBN 0-89287-753-7. This is not Montery specific but is a good general guideline for repairs and identifying components. Not everything I have on the 296 is in there. but it is a very useful "tool" as I've found out over the years I've had this Cruiser. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
