(12/21/2004) Zenon calls the Monterey 214FS (Facet Series) a "Hard Body" due to the innovative style lines of the new model. He recently tested the boat equipped with a Volvo Penta 5.0L GXi/SX in Florida's Tampa Bay and came up with some great test results! He writes that the boat's time to plane was "very good" and that the "forward visibility-due to the lack of bow rise during holeshot-was excellent."
