timh8000 0 Report post Posted January 31, 2009 I would like to replace my existing carpet (floor) in my 2006 298 ss with a synthetic wood floor. Is this something I can order from Monterey. Has anyone else done any research? How about a synthetic wood covering for the swim platform?
Don Hyde Marine 0 Report post Posted February 4, 2009 You should check into Flexiteek http://www.flexiteek.com/ if you're looking for a 'teak' like look.
Ian 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2009 For the interior, ask MOST what they use. I have timber look alike in the cabin of my 330SY which was fitted by the factory Flexiteek and Nuteak are plastic composite that work well internally. They can also be used externally --- BUT--- in direct sun, they get VERY hot and you will need some footwear to walk on it. I wouldn't recommend it on a swim platform if you actually use the platform to swim from or sit on
