Salvation Summer 0 Report post Posted May 11, 2009 I recently ordered a brand new 2009 260SCR. I did not have the electronics installed at the factory since I new I could certainly buy them for much less after the fact. I'm primarily looking for a color screen nav/chart plotter. I really dont need the fish finder feature. What are some recommendations for a reasonably cost and also user friendly units. I've found some units are not very user friendly. marfi 0 Report post Posted May 11, 2009 HI, Just go to http://www.northstarnav.com/en/ , and see what you want, i recomend the GPS Explorer 567 with a VHF Explorer 710 , also a smartcraft instalation if you have a mercury, so you can see how much miles you can do, what the engine comsumption, engine reports, etc...and with a vhf conected to the GPS you can have the DSC function.
