2001 248 LS Montura Shower Sump

I recently purchased a 2001 248 LS Montura BR that has an issue with the bathroom sink draining into the bathroom floor drain. Upon inspection, I found that both drains are connected to a shower sump that can be accessed via a hatch in the bow ski locker. Unfortunately, the access hatch is not big enough to remove the cover for the shower sump box, so I had to leave the cover in the floor as I worked on replacing a broken wire inside of the box. After completing the fix, I bumped the cover and it slid into the bow of the boat under the floor and I can no longer reach it. Has anyone worked on the show sump on a 248? Is there another larger access hatch somewhere? Is there any way to get a replacement sump cover into the floor without cutting a larger hole?
