Thanks Hi there, If you run Mercruiser engines, please try to see the Northstar system, they can put your engine system (smartcraft) on the GPS, and even you can have the fishfinder included, and can connect the radio on the GPS, have a look, i put the the northstar system on my 278sc i can have access to the engine info about gas consumed and consumed curves, engine problems, digital monitoring about speed etc..., and how much miles i do with the gas tank. http://www.northstarnav.com/ About Raymarine i know a guy that uses that system, i'm not so sure if it's a 290cr i will be with him this weekend, if no one reply's i'll ask him.
