Boating Life Magazine gives rave reviews to Monterey's new 220 EX Deck Boat (12/1/2006)

Space, and easy and enjoyable movement through it, is the hallmark of the 220 EX, an all-new deck boat from Monterey.

 

... There's clean storage under all passenger seats for toys, refreshments and amenities of all kinds. It's a cinch the gear will be needed: This boat is perfect for everything from fishing to tubing, cruising to skiing.

 

... Going for a dip in the water was never easier, with boarding ladders at both ends of the boat, and the telescoping, stainless-steel ladder stays concealed within the aft swim platform until needed, while another recessed boarding ladder stows at the front of the bow.

 

... The 220 EX has dual bucket seats with flip-up bolsters; they swivel so the driver and first mate can pivot to face the aft bench, which converts in seconds to an extended sun island.
