Back into boating 0 Report post Posted September 17, 2012 I just bought a pristine 2001 Monterey Montura LS cuddy last week and so far I love it. Looks great, handles chop nicely and was I surprised when she topped out at 48.9 mph on my gps! My only two little issues are the following. She seems to idle too high, around 800 rpms. And the speedometer is reading really low. Looks like the pitot was not snapped all the way down and thatmay fix it. I am interested I hearing from other owners, the good, the bad, possible upgrades.
