I am considering a new Monterey (just came out of a Chaparral) and would love to get some input from anyone on the 234 or 244 FS, specifically on engine and outdrive size and configuration. I really want Merc and was thinking 300HP with DPs and anything less might be underpowered. I would also like any general input on the durability and quality of these boats regarless of your particular model or size Thanks
