I have a 2005 250CR and I am looking for a way to install a screen door of some type in the cabin door opening. We boat in Eastern Ontario Canada and the inscets in the summer like to keep you up at night when the cabin door is open to allow for air to circulate.Has anyone put in a screen door in the cabin door opening and if so I would like hear about how it was done.
Thanks Peter

Hello Amanphoto,
From what I have read the alternator is 70 amp output which equals 840 watts.

Flathead,
Thanks for the heads up on the install, I will be doing it my self as I have the room in my garage to work on it and enjoy a good challange. What did you install for a windlass as I am looking at a Lewmar V700 as it should fit under the anchor hatch so as it will not be on the deck.

I am installing two 6 Volt 350ah batteries (hooked up in series for 12v)and a pair of 31 watt solar panels on the front deck of the boat. The panels will give me 62 watts of charge which in turn be 3-3.8 amps into the batteries via a charge controller. The 6 volt batteries will be house only and then I will have one starting battery. They will all be hooked to an isolator so thet the solar will keep the starting topped up at all times also. I trailer my boat and the area the we boat in we stay on the hook all the time, so the solar and the new batts. will provide use with enough power for as long as we want to stay out. I will be posting pics. as soon as I get the install completed which is under way now. I am also installing a windless at the same time and the pics will be posted also.
