  1. Hi. I have a 2003 Monterey 248 LSC. The engine hatch seat/doghouse has two liftsprings that need replacing. I need to get weight of this unit for manufacturer to pressurize springs to correct level. The size I need comes "pre" pressurized @ 30 lbs each. 2 x30=60 wasn't even close. Please help! Thanks in advance. Dave C
  2. Fire Port Correction: Post should have read "fire extinguisher port", not "fire boat"
  3. Anyone know where I can find a fire boat for engine cover seat. Original was dirty, cracked, broken. I have a 2003 248 LSC. Ordered a "generic" from a well known marine supply store. The oustside fits just right, the core if you will, is too small. Any advice?
  4. Anyone who can help me out with electrical? Bought a 248 LSC and have changed bulbs, etc where needed. Only things I can't get to work are the light in the head and the carbon monoxide detector, both on starboard side. Fuse panel labels show nothing that relates to these. There is a label named "Cabin", which seems to take care of any other lights in cabin ( two on port side over storage area , plus one port and two bow "reading" lights. These all work fine and burn bright, all fuses look good. I'm going nuts! Thanks in advance for any help!
