Wanted to introduce myself as I'll be doing a lot of reading on this forum. I recently took ownership of an 04' 190 LS as our first boat. Went out last weekend on our maiden voyage with the family and had a great time (already worth it). Some things i need some input on are the following:
Speedo doesn't work - has the Merc in/out board and seems like there may be someghing to do with the "tube" in the outbaord... thoughts?
Depth finder doesn't work - Sounds like this is a common issue with Faria (per Google) depthfinders. It just says 0.0 so who knows on this one....
Hydrofoil - would you consider this to be required or should i get one? As a new boater, i have no idea on this stuff so...
The boat is out getting detailed and having all decals removed so I'll post up pics when it comes back.
