    Any tips on removing a steering cable on a Monterey 248 LC

    I have a 2006 monterey 248 cuddy with a 350 merc and bravo 3 outdrive. the boat will only get up to 4000rpms and approx 37mph top speed. Anyone have any idea how fast it should go and what the problem may be. Thank you in advance.
