  1. Maybe the wrong place for this but i have found it very hard to find the part numbers etc for my Monterey 265 engine the Yanmar 6LPA-STZP. After alot of looking i came across these and thought that maybe there is guys/girls out there who are in the same boat( no punt intended ) where they find it hard to get part numbers etc. These are blown out manuals with every part numbered.... I also have come across a manual with the full strip down of engine step by step and changing out parts step by step. Let me know if it is worth posting also. 2001 YANMAR PARTS MANUAL.pdf 2007 YANMAR PARTS MANUAL 2025.pdf
  2. Hello all, first time poster so please be gentle. Needing guidance, i want to clean my 2004 265CR fuel tank but the access is very limited. Is this tank sealed with no access points and if so what would be the best way ( without trying to remove the tank) to clean the diesel tank. I was looking at cutting an opening on the top around the fuel pick up lines etc and then once finished plate it out along with the original piece i remove fitted back in place securely with screws/gaskets etc to make it leak free. The tank is plastic. There is approx 6 to 7 inches available on the top wide to work on and the rest disappears behind the bulk head. I am hoping someone can give me guidance on this as i dont want to make a mess of things. Sorry, only going into my 4th year boating, so still a lot to learn. You can see pic 3 where i would plan to cut to get access,, ( not my engine bay but the same from another 265cr )
