Mooring cover for 2003 228si

Hi All,

 

I have a 2003 228si that I have owned since new. I have been looking for a mooring cover that is fitted for the boat and while looking on line for one I see that there are listings for one version made for 2002 models and another for the 2004-2006 models. each of them has different part numbers. None of them are listed specifically for the 03'.

 

What differences are there between the years mentioned that would affect the fit of one of these covers? Is my boat configured to be a carryover from 2002 or precursor to the 2004-2006 models?

 

The covers I am looking at are supposedly fitted covers and as such not returnable and particulrly for me where I must make a choice that doesn't say that it fits my year specifically.

If you are not planning on trailering the boat with the mooring cover on, a "decent" fit would be just as good as a "perfect" fit IMO. You can also look at the different years of your boat model, and see if there are any significant differences between your 03' and other years. I suspect not much difference in overall hull design.
