Faucet replacement in cabin head 2012 280scr

Recommended Posts

Hi all

hope you can help me figure out how to replace cabin head faucet on a 280 or (295) as they are now called.

I can't seem to figure out how to access typical brass nut hold down for the single hole faucet. I've tried access from the head cabinet under the sink but can't see or even feel how the faucet is held down. Do I have to remove the counter top? Don't see an easy way for that either. Enlarge the access hole under the cabinet by 3 times then improvise a fix for that later?

suggestions encouraged please!!
