yes, there is a stainless bar, i have 2006 290cr, naturally you drop the table, then put the reinforcement bar in place and put the cushion on top to make the bed. i think my bar was under one of the table seat cushions.

my sink drain on my 290cr is the same way, i did reroute the drain somewhat and it flows a little better, but mine dumps directly overboard, not to a sump. you might want to check the level after it come from the sink and travels probably to the side of the boat and then downwards, it may need to be adjusted somewhat.

has anyone had a problem with the fiberglass arch on a 290 cr, i had a boat hauler call me up several months ago while he was bringing mine back from florida and say that while traveling at about 65-70 with the boat on the trailer a tractor trailer passed the other direction and my arch broke in half from the wind sheer, not at the deck, but a few feet up on both sides and blew off. i always kept a watch on my boat and all joints, never saw a crack or problem. do you think he was making it up and actually went under a low lying bridge in florida and smacked it. ??????? he had to have monterey make a new arch for it and it has been down there for 10 months at a monterey suggested repair shop. he said it might be done in a month.

i have a 2006 290 scr with twin volvo 5.0's, i am a first time boat owner and last summer i was cranking up the boat and someone crossed my path, i got scared and pulled hard on both throttles, at that point i went from forward to reverse at 3500 rpm, i broke the splined sleeves on the outdrives, before that the boat was running good. after i had the outdrives repaired the boat never seemed the same, my port engine doesn't have the power the starboard does, and it acts up and seems to go into partial shutdown sometimes, two dealers can't find anything wrong and can't find any codes in the computers. any thoughts ??????? julius

does anyone know how i can find out where to order a replacement kenyon cooktop glass for my cooktop, monterey used a non locking door on the microwave and i forgot to take out the glass, well you know what happened next, hit a wake and the door popped open and the glass plate came crashing down on my cooktop and broke it. (i know, stupid me) for not securing it, a somewhat excuse is that its my first boat. julius
