Does your battery voltage drop of when trying to start? This would indicate a bad battery. 2014 boat- the batteries are going on 4 plus years, lucky to make it that long. It could have a dead cell, you might be able to run the lights or radio but it won't start the engine.

I have a 2001 262 with a Raymarine A60 GPS/fishfinder. Looking from the stern forward, my transducer was installed on the starboard side off center and sits about 12 inches forward. I did read a previous article about being careful on installation and the affects from the prop. Good Luck
