Usually a blue wire is a remote amp turn on . When you turn on the head unit the blue wire sends a signal to turn on the amps .

Congrats bud . I am also looking into Seadek material , I am curious on anyone's input . We were missing a BOW cushion on our Monterey 270SC . Called Monterey , they told me the part # and then told me to call a local dealer to order the part . We cal;led the local dealer and it took about 8 weeks because it had to be custom made. I was told the original upholster company Monterey used when my boat was made is no longer in business. So they said the vinyl may not be a 100% match .. For my application it did not matter since the bow cushion did not butt up against any of the other " older" vinyl . Enjoy the new boat .

I always run the pink environmentally safe antifreeze in the winter thru the whole water system. Come boating season I run a few tanks thru the system of fresh water. After that I run a tank with a small amount of bleach added thru the system . After that I put some type of water tank additive that I buy from a local marine supply store ( Westmarine ) in every tank after we fill it with fresh water . We do not drink our tank water , we just use it for washing dishes, washing hands and things like that . If you have a hot water tank , be sure to always run both your hot and cold sides so that water is constantly flowing from both the hot and cold lines . We do not use our water heater ( turn it on ) , but we make sure to always run both HOT/COLD ... One season we tended to only turn on the cold when using the water, and one day we turned on the hot side after it sat for about two weeks and the water started to have a stench to it . Yes , very small group here compared to Searay , Chaparral . I would think you can order an led strip type of lighting and do this yourself for the LED effect . We are also looking to do the same with our boat . This past winter we added LED's above all the cup holders and some accent LED around the boat along with 2 OCEAN led underwater lights . Will try to get some pictures together and post . We buy our LED products at superbrightled.com

We have been going around the boat in an inflatable boat. I see others in the harbor floating on paddle boards around the boat cleaning the hull. I use a wash mitt that is on a telescoping rod. Fortunately we have a trailer, so we can pull and clean if needed.
