  1. I have purchased an extended swim platform and intend to install it myself. The platform supplier instructions are to mount it using lag screws in the top of the integrated platform and into the lower transom surface for the knee braces. My first thought was to use through bolts and washers/nuts wherever possible but I can't really get to the inside of the hull. Has anyone mounted a swim platform with only lag screws? I plan to seal the holes and around the screws with 3m 5200, but I am worried the screws will pull out eventually.
  2. Greetings everyone. I purchased a 99 242 Cruiser this Summer and love it! However, the custom swim platform, which is awesome, makes my LOA a tad too long for my slip. Can anyone suggest where I might advertise the platform for sale, in addition to Craigslist and eBay? Once sold, I can put the proceeds toward a shorter platform! Thanks in advance for your help!
