Volvo Penta 5.8FL Alternator eating belts

I have a well used 1997 256 Cruiser. Recently replaced the Alternator but since have had nothing but trouble. Belt seams to be slipping and we go through a new belt every tim we ar out. Maybe need to replace pulley?

 

pulley looks rusty and no paint on it while other v belt pulleys are clean and well painted.

 

Anyone know where I can get a new pulley? Part #?

Probably a question better asked on iBoats forum or marineengines.com. While your boat is a Monterey, the factory does not

make the engines and accessories attached to it. The engines come to Monterey ready to drop in. So you should look up the engine schematics

for yours, and do a google search for the replacement part #'s.
