Nauti Obsession 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2020 Hey Monterey Nation... Looking to redesign our dock and upgrade to a 335 SY. We want to back in parallel to our seawall with the tip of our bow only 22' from our neighbors boat lift. Looking for experience in maneuverability wit the 335 SY. Thanks for your Help! GetAway 0 Report post Posted May 29, 2020 Wow 22" isn't a lot of room to maneuver in. If you have two engines you might be able to port reverse and forward with the starboard engine. I have only a single engine and I'm not sure I could dock with that less space. Go to YouTube and there are several videos on docking and using lines to assist you. You're going to have to go REALLY slow!
Chet 0 Report post Posted May 26, 2021 The 335 is a big boat. I’m not the most experienced captain but I would have trouble getting into that space with wind or current.
PGI CONCH 0 Report post Posted May 26, 2021 Turn the Neptune boatlift (yours) 90 degrees and park it like your neighbors. Easier in/out.
RumSeaKer 0 Report post Posted June 21, 2021 I have a 335 SY, and my overall length is 35' +. She is very responsive when docking, even without a bow thruster. I've gotten her in to some pretty tight spots, but I think only having 21'-7" to get in and out every time you want to spend time on the water may be a bit nerve racking.
