  1. manuals are available on this site, I put it on a flashdrive and took it to my work to print it out...
  2. I just removed the microwave on my 262 because I preferred to have the empty space and because I never used the microwave to begin with, the "wood" piece above the microwave holding in down and secure is not screwed in, at least on mine it slid out with a little effort. once that was out I had about 1/2" play and it came right out.
  3. Does anyone use the engine room to CAREFULLY keep a small outboard (2 or 3 HP) for their dinghy. There is a spot it would fit nicely if I used tie downs? I could drain fuel first if needed.
  4. OK, I got to 4500 on my RPM's, 2002 262 5.7 Volvo Penta Gi I think I am right where I should be only this is where I kinda wish I had the 7.4, oh well, next time....
  5. Does anyone know if you need to turn on the water heater to get hot water while under power or does it do this automatically. I know it works when I am plugged into dock.
  6. I stand almost 100% of the time while steering, I am 6' even, I love being able to see everything happening around me, I am very fond of the tilt steering and fold up/back seat on helm...
  7. So is it better to not hook up to shore power? this is good to know, I had no idea...
  8. As far as costs go I would have a hard time spending almost 3k for props on 95' boat, you will not see much if any of this in resale, stainless is nice but the price?
  9. I have a 2002 Volvo Penta 5.7gi (on a 262CR) and was hoping to get some direction on whether or not to use a fuel additive, if so is there a common brand that works well, any tips on how to use it (every tank ?) Thanks in Advance, Redondo Beach, CA.
  10. Do you have a picture of this configurartion?
  11. <a href="http://s237.photobucket.com/albums/ff118/d...nt=IMG_1181.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i237.photobucket.com/albums/ff118/d...it/IMG_1181.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
  12. I have a 2002 262 CR with a VP 5.7 duo that I recently purchased, the boat is overall very clean, just hit 200 hours. The question I have is there is about 1/2" water that sits in the bilge (I am docked in water year round), the bilge pump does not pick this up so I always have a little water in the engine compartment which isn't the end of the world but drives me a little nuts. Should the water be there, is it common to be there, do I leave it, fix it, where is likely source. Thanks in advance. Jerry Redondo Beach, CA.
