I bought one of these last summer after our normal danforth fell in love with what I assume was a tree stump. Works great so far. I can't help you with that, but I can tell you that NAPA carries marine parts. I have the same motor and I bought an impeller kit from them two weeks ago and it cross referenced to the # you listed first.

What is the difference between a "mooring cover" and the snap on bow/cockpit covers?

Well worth the money, We keep ours in almost all the time. Actually works well for additional storage underneath.
