barclam 0 Report post Posted July 8, 2018 I have a 2014 Monterey 268 SS. The fuel gauge worked fine the first couple of times this year. Went out today and the gauge did not work, would not move off of E.. Needle did not move at all when key was turned. Any ideas. The fuel gauge, temperature, voltage and oil pressure are all on the same gauge. Only the fuel gauge is not working. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

BrianNJ 0 Report post Posted July 20, 2018 Before you go too far, try smacking the dash next time and see if the gauge comes to life. If so, the gauge is sticking, which is not unusual. Then you can decide if you need to fix the gauge or just live with it. My gauge needs a smack about half the time, but it isn’t worth fixing it - yet.
